How these notes are written

• Examples come mostly from the Qur'an, since that is the text worth knowing by heart. Examples from elsewhere are welcome too, and marked as such.
• Arabic terms are given alongside the English ones — for example مَاضِي(past), not "past" alone. The Arabic is the term worth learning, so it is never dropped in favour of the translation.
